The Kenda Tire, " Tennessee KnockOut" is a new “AMA - Monster Energy American Extreme Enduro” that will take place at the Trials Training Center in Tennessee on August 27th and 28th. Admission is only $10 per day, which is a great deal to see some of the Worlds Best Enduro riders. The reason the Worlds best are coming is because there is a $10,000 purse. Pretty rare for an off-road event. Among those committed to come is Taddy Blazusiak, the 4 time winner of the famous Erzburg Extreme Enduro, and East Tennessee native and AMA Champion Mike Brown. Champions from various Enduro, Cross Country, and Moto-Trials series are signed up to compete
There will be amateur classes on Saturday competing on a tamed down course. All Saturday participants also get a free entry to watch the Sunday Expert finals.
The Sunday expert event will feature a multi-round “Knockout” format. Each round will be different as the riders will race against the clock in some rounds and head to head in others, on both short and long courses consisting of extremely difficult terrain. If you've never been to the Trials Training Center before, it is a great place to watch off road action. Much of the terrain is extremely difficult. Keep in mind, they hosted a round of the World Trials Championship here-(picture above). There is a creek bed / rock garden which lies in a valley which gives spectators great views of the action. To give you an idea of what is expected, Throttle Entertainment will be on location to film the event for their upcoming television series, "Enduro Kings."
